"As the Executive Director of Africa ICT Right (AIR), I have worked closely with Carmen Wheatcroft for the past several months.  In her role as IT Project Manager for AIR, she has been resourceful, a team player, industrious, energetic, a problem-solver, creative, task-oriented and self-reliant. In the absence of clearly defined goals, she researched technology and defined solutions specific to Ghana's needs.  

While working remotely from the United States, she has developed an understanding of the social, geographic, economic, and educational challenges in rural and urban communities in Ghana and has applied that knowledge to develop a comprehensive plan for a sustainable IT solution that will be implemented for previously underserved, marginalized groups and communities.
